Erika Monroy

Erika Monroy currently serves as an Academic TRUST Counselor and Parent Education Program Lead at Downtown Doral Charter Upper School, where Erika focuses on social-emotional learning (SEL) interventions and family wellness programming. With extensive experience as a Social-Emotional Skills Instructor and Course Designer at Panamerican University, Erika develops interdisciplinary courses that enhance well-being for students in various fields. Additionally, Erika works as a Vocational Orientation Test Analyst at PDA HRtech, guiding early-career individuals in identifying suitable career paths, and as a Certified Professional Coach for the International Coaching Federation, providing emotional wellness education and coaching in both English and Spanish. Previous roles include Career & Life Design Specialist at Improving Lives Community Mental Health Center and Co-Founder of The Thinking Institute, where Erika designed emotional wellness programs. Erika holds a Certified Professional Coach designation, a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from Universidad Anáhuac, and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac.
