Samuel Tam

Samuel Tam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Applications Engineering and Yield Management within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as a Senior Manager Applications Engineer at PDF Solutions since December 2004, Samuel manages a global team that supports dataPOWER, a yield management system, while also handling technical sales across a worldwide sales organization. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at SKT Consulting, providing yield enhancement services at Applied Materials, and a lengthy tenure at Electroglas as Director of Worldwide Application Engineering, where management of a global team and product marketing responsibilities were key. Earlier in Samuel's career, a position as Senior Application Engineer at NCA Corporation involved supporting sales and marketing for IC design verification. Samuel holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MS in Computer Science from Santa Clara University.
