John Farrer

John Farrer is a highly experienced engineer who has worked in a variety of industries. John is currently a Principal Engineer at PDL, but they have also worked as a contracted engineer for GMC Limited, TechnipFMC, and Royal IHC. John has also served on the Young Members panel for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. In their previous positions, they have led teams of engineers and been responsible for the design and structural verification of a wide range of products. John is an expert in hand calculation and FEA.

John Farrer has a MSc in Renewable Energy from Newcastle University and a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering from The University of Salford. John is also certified from the National Skills Academy for Nuclear in Triple Bar Existing Sites and from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in Chartered Engineer and Member.

Their manager is Alex Roff, Engineering Director. John Farrer works with Matthew Raine - Senior Engineer, Daniel Ferrol - Senior Engineer, and Ben Richardson - Senior Engineer.
