Susan Burek is an experienced professional with a diverse background in product development and project management. Currently serving as Chapter President for PDMA Carolinas and kHUB Administrator & Product Manager for PDMA, Susan has been involved in innovative projects and resources for over 3,500 members. Prior roles include Senior Consultant at Foresight Science & Technology, where responsibilities included assessing new technologies for marketability and securing government grants, and Program Manager positions at Stanley Black & Decker and Newell Rubbermaid, focused on enhancing project execution processes. With a strong emphasis on sustainability during their tenure as Manager of Research and Partnerships at Ingersoll Rand, Susan fostered innovation through partnerships with universities and organizations. Previous experience also encompasses product safety compliance at Clariant Corporation and commercialization management at Eastman Kodak Company, where significant contributions were made to product launches and market analysis. Susan holds a Master of Product Development degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
