Laura Beth Gonzales Mertz has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and design. Laura Beth started their career as an intern at Perry Homes in 2002 and later worked as an architectural designer at various firms including Ziegler Cooper Architects, Dao Chloe Dao, The Detering Company, Intexure Architects, and Wilson Architectural Group, Inc. Laura Beth joined PDR Corporation in 2014 as a Senior Associate and continued working there until 2022. From 2022 to 2023, Laura served as a Senior Interior Project Designer and Senior Associate at Perkins&Will. Currently, they hold the position of Design Director at PDR - Planning, Design, Research, starting from July 2023.
Laura Beth Gonzales Mertz completed their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Architecture at the University of Michigan, where they attended from 2007 to 2009.
