Paul Ivany

Paul Ivany has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Paul is currently serving as the Senior Director of Technical Operations at PDS Biotechnology since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Manufacturing Science & Technology at Insmed Incorporated from November 2018 to March 2022. Paul also held the position of Principal Consultant at PRI Biopharm & Device Consulting for a brief period from May 2018 to November 2018.

Before their time at Insmed and PRI Biopharm, Paul worked at Edge Therapeutics, Inc. as the Senior Director of Technical Operations from January 2018 to May 2018, and as the Director of Technical Operations from September 2015 to January 2018.

Earlier in their career, Paul held roles such as Associate Director of Pharmaceutical Technology at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) from January 2012 to September 2015, Manager of Manufacturing Operations at Lundbeck from October 2009 to January 2012, Technical Manager of Global Technical Services at Merck from October 2007 to October 2009, and Manager of Worldwide Project Management at Pfizer from June 2007 to October 2007. Paul's career in the industry started as a Scientist in Product and Process Development at Pfizer from June 2002 to June 2007.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Paul worked as a Scientist II at Watson Pharmaceuticals from July 1999 to June 2002.

Paul Ivany has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. Paul later pursued further education at Lehigh University, where they received a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, as well as two certificates in Regulatory Affairs and Bio-Organic Principles of Pharmaceutical Science. Paul completed these additional qualifications at Lehigh University from 2005 to 2007.
