Siva Gandhapudi has extensive work experience in the field of immunology and product development. They started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky in 2004, where they focused on evaluating nanoparticle delivery systems for infectious disease vaccines and studying T cell responses to physiological stress. They then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Louisville from 2010 to 2013, where they conducted pre-clinical animal studies and characterized the immunogenicity and safety of candidate vaccine adjuvants. In 2013, they joined the University of Oklahoma as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, where their research activities included developing immunophenotyping protocols and identifying potential combination cytokine therapy for treating Lymphopenia. In 2015, they joined the University of Kentucky College of Medicine as a Scientist IV, focusing on the development of human cancer and infectious disease vaccines, as well as designing and overseeing pre-clinical studies for testing the immunogenicity and efficacy of vaccine formulations. Recently, in 2021, they joined PDS Biotechnology as a Director of Immunology & Product Development.
Siva Gandhapudi has a diverse and extensive education history. In 1996, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University. Following this, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Soil Microbiology at the University of Kentucky.
Siva continued their educational journey and from 2004 to 2009, they focused on earning a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology and Immunology, still at the University of Kentucky. This demonstrated their commitment to the field and their desire to further their knowledge and expertise.
In more recent years, Siva sought to broaden their skill set within the business domain. From 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Administration, Management, and Operations at the Gatton College of Business and Economics.
In addition to their formal degrees, Siva Gandhapudi has also obtained various certifications. Siva completed the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) program offered by CITI Program, a division of BRANY, in October 2020. Similarly, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Improving Healthcare Value (Finance and Business) from the Gatton College of Business and Economics in December 2019.
