Janis Sanders

Janis Sanders is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience spanning various engineering and project management roles. Currently serving as a Materials and Process Engineer at PDS Defense since November 2020, Janis previously held the position of Founding Partner and Project Manager at Prospertunity LLC, focusing on new property development in the Atlanta, GA area. Janis has also consulted for aerospace technologies at GLG and served as a Senior Materials and Process Engineer at Boeing, where noteworthy achievements included creating specifications to reduce engineering certification testing costs significantly. Janis's career began with technical roles, including patent examining for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and internships in biomechanical R&D. Janis holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and has further education from Cornell University and the New York Fashion Academy.
