Carla Nurse

Carla Nurse has a strong background in the fashion industry with over 18 years of experience. CARLA most recently held the position of Director of Technical Design at PDS Limited starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at MUST GARMENT CORPORATION LTD as the Head of Technical Design from June 2019 to May 2021. Before that, Carla served as the Senior Pattern Cutter & Garment Technologist at Dressed to the Nines from October 2017 to May 2019. CARLA also worked as a Technical Consultant at Gossip Clothing from January 2017 to August 2017. Earlier in their career, Carla held the position of Head of Technical at PC CLOTHING LIMITED from October 2006 to December 2016. CARLA started their career as a Pattern Cutter & Garment Technologist at Caesar Fashions Limited from January 2004 to September 2006. Carla began their professional journey as a Trainee Manager at Hobbs London from October 2002 to December 2003.

Carla Nurse's education history begins with their completion of a BTEC Foundation in Art & Design at the College of North East London in 1998. CARLA then pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Fashion from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, graduating in 2002. Carla's most recent educational endeavor is their enrollment at Browzwear University, where they are studying 3D CAD Design, with an anticipated completion year of 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Carla Nurse has obtained multiple certifications. CARLA completed the Lane Bryant & Catherines Fit Manager Certification Program offered by ascena in December 2019. In January 2021, Carla earned the Vendor Fit Manager Certification from Walmart. Carla has also completed various courses provided by Browzwear, including the VStitcher 101 Foundations in June 2021, the VStitcher 201 Foundations in March 2022, and the VStitcher 301 in January 2023. Furthermore, Carla Nurse received the Certificate of Completion in Walmart Apparel 3D in January 2023.
