Duan Gauche

Duan Gauche has a diverse work experience starting in 2001 as a Free-lance Technology reporter for OFM (Radio Oranje), where they selected relevant content for the show, reviewed hardware and software, and recorded and broadcasted the show. Duan then worked at NedBank from 1997 to 2004 as an Electronic Banking Consultant, specializing in the Y2K rollout and sales of electronic banking products. Duan'sresponsibilities included acquiring and retaining clients, completing documentation, and providing training and support.

Afterwards, Duan worked at Automated Reasoning from 2004 to 2006 as a Solutions Consultant, focusing on PTC product sales, client acquisition and retention, training development, and relationship building. Duan then held roles at Realyst and Northview Estate in 2006, where they served as a Sales & Marketing Executive and Chairman respectively.

In 2007, Duan joined productONE as a Business Development Manager, managing client relationships, sales, and maintenance contracts. Duan then moved to Blue Turtle Technologies in 2012 as an Account Manager before co-founding 1Worx in 2015. At 1Worx, they served as the Chief Executive Officer and later as the Co-Founder until November 2020.

Finally, Duan currently works at PDSVISION, starting as an IoT Business Consultant in December 2020 and then transitioning to the role of IIoT Business Development Manager in January 2022.

Duan Gauche attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2009 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Entrepreneurship, which they have not yet completed.
