Perttu Korpela

Perttu Korpela has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Perttu started their career as a Design Engineer at BMH Wood Technology Oy, where they designed heavy machinery and developed automation for creating BOMs.

Perttu then joined PT UK Ltd as a Technical Support Engineer, serving customers in Nordic countries and the UK. This role helped him gain in-depth knowledge of PTC's software and build valuable relationships with colleagues.

Perttu then moved to PTC Finland Oy as an Implementation Specialist, where they were responsible for developing customer processes and providing training for Pro/ENGINEER software.

In 2001, they joined PDSVision Oy as a Managing Director and Sales Rep. In this role, they worked closely with innovative Finnish companies, providing solutions based on PTC's MCAD and Windchill software. Perttu held this position for over a decade.

Currently, Perttu is working at PDSVISION as the Vice President of Operations, Nordics. Perttu oversees daily workflows, collaborates with the management team to meet company goals, and provides expertise and guidance on operations projects, processes, and systems. Additionally, they hold the position of Business Director, PLM, where they focus on helping industrial companies with their digitalization journey by combining PLM and IoT to enable digital thread for Smart Connected Operations and Products.

Perttu Korpela completed their bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on machine design, from Tampere Institute of Technology. Perttu attended this school from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they pursued further education at Université de Bordeaux from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a License (I.U.P) in Genie des Systemes Industriels.
