Aviv Cukierman

Aviv Cukierman currently serves as Vice President at PDT Partners since July 2020. Prior to this, Aviv completed a PhD in Physics at Stanford University from 2014 to 2020, engaging in significant research on the ATLAS experiment at CERN, focusing on Higgs boson decay and developing new calibration techniques involving neural networks. Aviv's academic background includes a BS in Physics and Math from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where involvement in undergraduate research included analyzing LHCb particle data and designing an efficient incandescent lightbulb. Additional experience includes roles at Jane Street Capital as an Assistant Trader, Johns Hopkins University as a Visiting Student Researcher, and MITRE as a Student Researcher.
