Tom Lubenow

Tom Lubenow is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as Vice President at PDT Partners since March 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Validation Engineer and Software Engineer at Tesla from April 2020 to February 2025, where Tom contributed to software validation processes. At Motiv Power Systems, from January 2019 to March 2020, Tom was a Junior Embedded Software Engineer, focusing on modular electric powertrain platforms and developing GUI applications for firmware upgrades. Previous experience at Rockwell Collins as an Embedded Software Engineer involved significant improvements in hardware manufacturing and testing through systems integration. Tom began his career as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, where involvement in communications systems and solar energy simulations took place. Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa, completed in May 2017.
