Emma Vegerfors has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Emma currently works at PE Accounting as the Chief Technology Officer since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at H&M Group from May 2020 to October 2022, where they held the position of Director of Engineering / Product Area Lead Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the Product Area Supply planning, focusing on business processes and tech tools for Capacity Management, Produce and AI in Production. Emma played a key role in driving the tech transformation in the area, with a focus on cloud, microservices, AI, and automation.

Before joining H&M Group, Emma worked at H&M for several years. From May 2017 to April 2020, they held the position of Strategy Execution Manager, where they set the strategy to become an Agile organization, introduced Objectives and Key Results, and facilitated organizational development and communication activities. Emma also introduced and managed Innovation as a Service in their division.

Prior to their role as Strategy Execution Manager, Emma held multiple roles at H&M, including Delivery Area Lead - Purchase Area from February 2015 to April 2017, IT Service Responsible for Delivery Area at BOPO IT Division from September 2012 to March 2015, and System responsible for Product Development & Order Follow-Up solution from January 2010 to August 2012. In these roles, they had responsibilities such as setting area strategies, managing budgets, coordinating projects, and ensuring solutions supported current and future business needs.

Before joining H&M, Emma worked at Proffice from 2003 to 2008, where they held the positions of Applikationsansvarig & Projektledare and Systemförvaltare & Projektledare. Emma was responsible for managing various systems related to core business processes, candidate management, e-invoicing, and time reports.

Emma began their career at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in February 2000, where they worked as an IT Consultant. Their responsibilities included being a Java developer, junior project manager, and gaining experience in industries such as banking and pharmaceuticals.

Overall, Emma Vegerfors has a strong background in technology leadership, strategy execution, and project management, with a focus on driving innovation and digital transformation in organizations.

Emma Vegerfors has a Master's degree in Social Science in Informatics from Jönköping University, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. In 2018, they completed a course in Leading SAFe at Scaled Agile. In 2015, they received a certification in Leadership Level 3 - Developing Strategic Leadership and Leading Leaders from Gaia leadership. In 2012, they completed a program in Situation-Based Leadership at H&M and a course in PPS Steering Group at Tieto. In 2009, they participated in a Leadership Program at H&M, which consisted of 13 days spread over 6 occasions during a year. In 1998, they attended the University of Saskatchewan, and from 1993 to 1996, they studied Economics at Tibble Gymnasium.
