Brent Cauthen

Brent Cauthen, CCNP, has extensive experience in the IT and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as the Manager of IT Mine Support & OT Security for Peabody Energy since November 2013. In this role, Brent has ensured 99% network uptime for a global operation managing over 10,000 Cisco devices and has contributed to a significant corporate data center migration that resulted in a $3 million cost saving. Previously, Brent held positions at Business Communications Solutions, where recognition as LG Ericsson's Best Engineer in the Nation occurred in 2013, and at Shoe Carnival, where management of over 20 construction projects highlighted strong organizational skills. Brent's technical expertise also includes previous roles in telecommunications engineering and an educational background in Information Technology with a focus on security from Western Governors University.
