Mark Yingling

Mark Yingling is a seasoned professional specializing in environment, health, and safety with extensive experience in the coal industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety at Peabody Energy since April 2004, Mark is responsible for global sustainable development and compliance with environmental health and safety programs. Previously, Mark held the position of Vice President of Environment at Peabody Energy, overseeing environmental programs and operations for the largest independent coal company worldwide. Prior to this, Mark was Vice President of Engineering at Black Beauty Coal Company from May 1997 to April 2004, where responsibilities included engineering direction, mine planning, and regulatory management. Mark Yingling holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Soil & Water Conservation from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
