Claude Zobell

Claude Zobell has a diverse work experience, spanning several positions and industries. Claude started their career at Reid & Alverson as an Associate Attorney, gaining extensive trial and appellate experience. Claude then worked as a AA (Chief of Staff) for Harry Reid, Member of Congress, where they directed all staff functions and provided legal counsel. Following this, they served as the Assistant Dean at J. Reuben Clark Law School, overseeing admissions, placement, and student activities, and played a prominent role in the creation of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. Claude later joined Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough as an Associate/Shareholder before joining Nevada Power Company as their Washington Counsel. In this role, they provided legal counsel and representation and was retained until 2000. Claude then joined Peabody Hotel Group, where they held the position of Vice President/General Counsel. Claude was responsible for various legal matters, including employment law, human resources, contracts, litigation, EEOC representation, and ADA compliance. Claude also conducted managers' training, legal interviewing, and served as the acting director of human resources on two occasions.

Claude Zobell completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Brigham Young University, studying from 1970 to 1975. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, attending from 1976 to 1979.
