Margaret Engel

Margaret Engel currently serves as the Student and Campaigns Coordinator at Peace Action New York State, having started in July 2023. Margaret previously held the same title at Peace Action New York State from September 2021 to September 2022 and worked as an English Teaching Assistant with The Fulbright Program from September 2022 to July 2023. Additional experience includes a Summer Intern position with the Long Island Alliance for Peaceful Alternatives, a Civic Engagement Fellow role at the Center for Civic Engagement at Hofstra University, and various English teaching positions, including internships with the International Rescue Committee and A.C.L.E. Margaret has a robust academic background, pursuing a Master of Public Administration and International Relations at Syracuse University's Maxwell School, following a triple Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University.
