Chaturon Kathong

Chaturon Kathong is an experienced professional with a strong background in safety, security, and youth programming, currently serving as a Safety and Security Manager and previously as a Youth Programming and Training Specialist at the Peace Corps since September 2012. Prior to this, Chaturon worked at IOM - UN Migration as a Program Officer, responsible for developing pre-departure curriculum and providing orientation for Thai workers from August 2011 to August 2012, and as a Cultural Orientation Trainer, conducting courses for refugees from June 2007 to June 2009. Chaturon’s career began with the Peace Corps as a Language Integration Facilitator, teaching Thai language and culture from December 2004 to June 2006. Chaturon holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Silpakorn University, earned between 2000 and 2003.
