Peace Corps
Marisa Hofstee currently serves as the Director of Programming and Training for the Peace Corps, focusing on the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs in Timor-Leste while managing a multicultural team. Previous experience includes independent consulting in evaluation and public health, where key projects involved qualitative research and advising on policy recommendations. Marisa held the role of Interim Health Program Manager at Catalpa International and served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington, mentoring graduate students in public health research. Additionally, Marisa worked as the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Health Alliance International, designing M&E frameworks for various projects. Early career experience includes data management consulting and serving as an HIV Educator for the Peace Corps in Swaziland. Marisa Hofstee holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Mount Holyoke College.
