Scott McCargar

Scott McCargar, CPA, MPAcc, currently serves as the Director of Financial Reporting at Peace Hills Trust, a position held since July 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Manager of Financial Reporting at Capital Power from May 2023 to June 2025, and Manager of Business Support at Covenant Health Canada from March 2021 to May 2023. Scott also worked as Plant Controller at K-Bro Linen Systems Inc from September 2018 to March 2021 and held positions at PwC as a Senior Associate and Associate from September 2015 to August 2018. Early career experience includes serving as a Small Business Case Manager for the Disaster Recovery Program at the Government of Alberta from May 2014 to August 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from MacEwan University (2011-2015) and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan (2016-2017). Scott is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada from 2015 to 2019.
