Carolyn De Gois is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at gforce employment + recruitment since December 2022, and as Chairperson for the Peace of Mind Foundation Australia since November 2022, Carolyn is dedicated to enhancing employment opportunities and supporting brain cancer patients and their families. Previous roles include Non-Executive Board Member at Volunteering Geelong, Senior Advisor to the Victorian Government, Deputy Secretary of Corporate Services at the Department of Health & Human Services, and various senior positions in IT and management at NBN Co, Public Transport Victoria, KPMG, and IBM Global Business Services. Carolyn holds an MBA in International Business & Change Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computing & Applied Mathematics from Deakin University, as well as a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Peace of Mind Foundation provides nationwide supportive care programs and services to patients, carers and their loved ones impacted by brain cancer. Our organisation is guided by the mission to ensure that every family in Australia gets the support they need from diagnosis to bereavement. The five year survival rate for brain cancer is only 22.3 per cent and families faced with diagnosis need help navigating the complex road to treatment, financial support and practical assistance. Peace of Mind Foundation is the only organisation of its kind in Australia to help brain cancer with one-on-one personal support. Our organisation is entirely reliant on donations and partnerships and welcomes the support of the community to help through fundraising, donations and volunteering.
