Darcy Pollan is an experienced communication and strategic partnerships professional, currently serving as the Director of Communication & Strategic Partnerships at Peace Over Violence since October 2018. In this role, Darcy collaborates closely with leadership to foster new partnerships and manage existing collaborations. Since 2015, Darcy has also operated as a self-employed Communication & Events Consultant, specializing in event management and communication strategies. Previously, Darcy consulted for the Joyful Heart Foundation from March 2017 to October 2018, managing the product partner program and overseeing partner relationships. From 2007 to 2015, Darcy was the Director of Communication and Events at Peace Over Violence, orchestrating notable campaigns such as Denim Day. Early experience includes event coordination at Wolfgang Puck Catering and Town Hall Los Angeles, where Darcy managed numerous events and member relations. Darcy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & History from Loyola Marymount University.

Established in 1971 by pioneering feminist activists, Peace Over Violence is a sexual and domestic violence, intimate partner stalking, child abuse and youth violence prevention center headquartered in Los Angeles. POV is committed to social service, social change and social justice. POV’s innovative and comprehensive programs include Emergency, Intervention, Prevention, Education and Advocacy services and are offered in Los Angeles and the 22 cities within the West San Gabriel Valley. Our mission is building healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual, domestic and interpersonal violence. Our services are offered in English, Spanish and American Sign Language.
