Elena Christopoulos is a seasoned Political and Sustainability Consultant with over 20 years of experience, currently leading Elena Christopoulos Management Consulting (ECMC) since July 2010. Expertise in sustainability was notably demonstrated with the implementation of the first urban wind turbine in North America in the early 2000s. Additional roles include serving as an Advisory Board Member for Peace Over Violence and a Commissioner for the City of Santa Monica. Established in 1971 by pioneering feminist activists, Peace Over Violence is a sexual and domestic violence, intimate partner stalking, child abuse and youth violence prevention center headquartered in Los Angeles. POV is committed to social service, social change and social justice. POV’s innovative and comprehensive programs include Emergency, Intervention, Prevention, Education and Advocacy services and are offered in Los Angeles and the 22 cities within the West San Gabriel Valley. Our mission is building healthy relationships, families and communities free from sexual, domestic and interpersonal violence. Our services are offered in English, Spanish and American Sign Language.
