Karen Barry is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community service, program coordination, and dance education. Currently serving as a Coordinator at PEACE, Inc. since November 2018, Karen has previously held multiple roles at Contact Community Services, Inc., including Program Assistant and Anger Management Facilitator, where education on cognitive behavioral therapy was delivered. Karen also has a strong foundation in dance instruction, having worked as Director of Dance Arts at Tully Council for the Arts and as an Instructor at Tamara Lynn School of Dance, focusing on teaching and choreographing for both children and adults. Additionally, experience includes providing support to residents with mental illness at Transitional Living Services. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Social Work from SUNY Empire State College, completed between 2015 and 2018.
