Caroline Means

Caroline Means is a skilled psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience at PeaceHealth since October 2025 and previously served as a psychiatric registered nurse at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from August 2018 to October 2025. In this role, Caroline acted as a day shift charge nurse on a 74-bed psychiatric unit, addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients. Prior experiences include delivering safe care as a pre/post operative nurse and a student nurse apprentice with a focus on surgical and orthopedic settings. Caroline’s early career included a volunteer position as a patient ambassador in the emergency department and an internship at the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, where knowledge of scientific writing and ethics was developed. Caroline holds a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Idaho State University. An Associate’s degree in General Studies was obtained from Northern Virginia Community College.
