Imelda Dacones

Imelda Dacones currently serves as the President of Care Delivery and Value at PeaceHealth since September 2025. Prior to this role, Imelda held the position of CEO and President of Optum Care for the Pacific Northwest Market from August 2021 to August 2025, as well as serving as the Washington Market President. Imelda's experience also includes leadership as Chair of The Permanente Federation LLC from July 2019 to July 2021 and as CEO and President of Northwest Permanente for over 22 years. Additional roles included Hospitalist and Regional Chief Medical Officer, along with a board membership at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine from September 2016 to June 2021. Imelda's educational background includes an internship and residency in Internal Medicine from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and participation in the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
