Ernst Janse van Rensburg

Ernst Janse van Rensburg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ernst has recently been working at Peach Payments as the Head of Product since 2023. Prior to that, they held several positions at Luno, a global cryptocurrency company, including Global Head of Product, Head of Product Management, Head of Customer Success, and Group Product Manager. Before joining Luno, they were the Head of Mobile Money at Zoona. Ernst also worked at Tencent Africa as a Senior Product Manager (Payments) and at Mukuru as the Head of Digital. Ernst'scareer started at Sable International - Professional Services, where they held various roles such as Managing Director, Foreign Exchange Manager, Lending Manager, and Management Consultant.

Ernst Janse van Rensburg completed their high school education at DF Malan. Ernst then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree with a focus on Statistics at Stellenbosch University from 2001 to 2004. Following this, they attended the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town, where they obtained an MBA with honors in Business/Finance/Commerce from 2009 to 2010. In 2011, Ernst completed an MBA Exchange program with honors in Information Technology at City University of Hong Kong.
