Tom Preece

Tom Preece has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 with J.P. Morgan where they gained insights into derivatives and software development. Tom then moved on to Redmayne-Bentley LLP in 2014 where they focused on investment management and stock brokering. In 2015, they worked at RsA as a Finance and Tax Analyst, showcasing adaptability and cross-cultural skills. From 2016 to 2018, at BPN Consulting, they transitioned from a Business Analyst to a Data Scientist, managing teams, and improving their managerial skills. Lastly, since 2018, they have been working at Peak, initially as a Data Scientist and currently as a Lead Data Scientist in the retail sector.

Tom Preece attended Bootham School for their secondary education. Tom then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics with Industrial Placement at Durham University from 2014 to 2018. Tom has also obtained certifications in Sample-based Learning Methods, Fundamentals of Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in 2019 and 2020.
