Nichia McFarlane

As member outreach coordinator, Nichia (she, her, hers) supports all member recruitment, onboarding, and engagement efforts. Working across departments, Nichia communicates PEAK Grantmaking’s mission and strategy to grow and engage membership, and nurture a network committed to effective and equitable grantmaking practices.

Prior to joining PEAK Grantmaking, Nichia started her career as an intern at the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy supporting event planning and sponsor recruitment. She went on to work for the American Association of University Women, where she led member engagement strategies, and the National Environmental Education Foundation, where she organized fundraising efforts and sourced new funding opportunities.

Nichia graduated from Baruch College with a bachelor of arts degree in English literature.
