Britt Allen

Britt Allen is an experienced product engineer currently serving as Product Engineer II at Peak Nano since August 2023. Prior to this role, Britt worked at Volk Optical Inc. as a Product Development and Quality Engineer, overseeing the complete product lifecycle, including design, prototyping, and testing. Britt's experience also includes roles as Engineering Design Instructor at Engineering World Health, Design Studio Director at the Rice 360⁰ Institute for Global Health, and Global Innovations Fellow at Jhpiego. Notably, research conducted at Dr. Rebecca Heise's Mechanobiology Lab involved fabricating an electrospun scaffold for lung tissue regeneration, with findings presented at prestigious events. Britt holds a Master’s Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from Virginia Commonwealth University.
