Shdema Epstein

Shdema Epstein has worked in various roles in the medical and data science fields since 2002. Shdema began their career as a Data Science Researcher in the Israeli Intelligence Corps. In 2011, they became a Teaching Assistant at Jerusalem College of Engineering. In 2012, they worked as a Data Scientist at BioCatch, where they executed data science projects on large data sets and wrote the core code of the machine learning infrastructure of the product. In 2016, they were a Teaching Assistant at IDC Herzliya and a Research Assistant and Scientific Programmer at Tel Aviv University. In 2017, they were an Algorithm Developer at Loom Systems (Acquired by ServiceNow). In 2020, they became a Medical Doctor at Shamir Medical Center and in 2021, they are a Senior Medical Scientist at NVision Imaging Technologies.

Shdema Epstein completed a Doctor of Medicine - MD from Tel Aviv University in 2019, a Master of Science - MS in Computational Neuroscience from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science - BS in Mathematics, Philosophy, and Psychology from Tel Aviv University in 2008.
