Richard S. Lepkowicz currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Optical Engineering at Peak Nano, a position held since May 2018, where previous roles included Vice President and Director of Optical Engineering. Prior to this, Richard was the Director of Physical Sciences at Quantitative Scientific Solutions from January 2016 to April 2018 and a Lead Optical Scientist at MITRE, contributing to innovative optical systems and serving as a subject matter expert. Richard's experience includes a research scientist position at the University of Arizona, an associate role at Booz Allen Hamilton, and a tenure-track assistant professorship at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Naval Research Laboratory and graduate research assistantship at CREOL, University of Central Florida. Richard holds a PhD and M.S. in Optics from the University of Central Florida, alongside a B.S. in Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Analytics.
