Clare Ridgeway

Clare Ridgway is a highly experienced Senior Scientist currently working at Sygnature Discovery since January 2023, following a role as Senior Scientist at Charles River Laboratories from December 2021 to January 2023, which resulted from the acquisition of Cobra Biologics. Prior to this, Clare served as Senior Scientist - Fermentation at Cobra Biologics, leading the Innovation Team in a biologics manufacturing facility, and was involved in high-quality plasmid DNA and virus product development for the gene therapy market. Additional experience includes roles at QIAGEN focusing on validating diagnostic kits, VWR in sterile cell culture, and AstraZeneca in toxicology where Clare contributed to drug safety assessments and assay development. Clare holds an MSc in Applied Toxicology from the University of Surrey and a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences - Toxicology from De Montfort University.
