Sam Bloor

Samuel Bloor is a Senior Scientist I at Sygnature Discovery since August 2022, with a background in fermentation science as an Assistant Fermentation Scientist at Holiferm from November 2019 to June 2022. Samuel's experience includes a role as a Duty Manager at YHA (England & Wales), where oversight of housekeeping services was essential, and previous positions as a Team Member involved engaging with international guests and ensuring hostel readiness. Additionally, Samuel contributed to research as a Research Assistant at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, co-authoring a publication on genetic mutations. Earlier roles include Team Supervisor at ABM Catering and Bartender at Barlaston Cricket Club. Samuel holds a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Manchester and a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool.
