Piotr Ignacy Nowakowski

Piotr Ignacy Nowakowski has an extensive work experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Piotr Ignacy started their career in 1995 at SCOR, where they held various roles including Senior Underwriter and General Manager. Piotr Ignacy then moved to Echo Re in 2012 as Client Management & Underwriting in North Asia before becoming Chief Underwriting Officer Worldwide at Echo Reinsurance Limited in 2013. In 2022, they joined Peak Re as Director, Head of Product Underwriting Property & Casualty, and later became the Chief Underwriting Officer Property & Casualty. Throughout their career, Piotr has demonstrated strong underwriting skills and leadership in the industry.

Piotr Ignacy Nowakowski completed their Master's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie from 1981 to 1986. Piotr Ignacy also obtained a Diplôme International d’Administration Publique in Business Administration and Management, General from ENA - Ecole nationale d'administration from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, they pursued a PhD level in Insurance at CHEA.
