John Whitehill

John Whitehill is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as IT Director at Peak Scientific since November 2022, John previously held the position of IT Operations & Security Director at Aggreko from December 2017 to August 2022. At PwC, from January 2015 to December 2017, John focused on building a significant cyber security practice in Scotland. During their tenure at Standard Life from March 2005 to November 2014, John held various leadership roles, including Group IT Strategy & Security Director, where responsibilities included the delivery of the Group's Technology Strategy and Infrastructure design. Additionally, John established a new function integrating information security, physical security, and business continuity within Standard Life. Prior to these roles, John gained experience at Baker Tilly and Ernst & Young, contributing to technology and security audits. John holds a BSc in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow, a Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Management from the University of the West of Scotland, and is certified in IT risk and control through ISACA (CISA).
