Erik Reese has a diverse range of work experience in the field of physical therapy and education. Erik began their career in 2014 as a Youth Soccer Coach at Soccer Shots, where they instructed and mentored children in athletic and life skills. In 2016, Erik joined PEAK Sport and Spine as the Head Physical Therapy Technician, responsible for assisting therapists and managing the clinic's operations. Erik also coordinated the schedules and duties of other technicians. In 2018, Erik worked as a Student Physical Therapist at SSM Health Physical Therapy, gaining hands-on experience in outpatient orthopedic care. Erik learned various clinical skills and treated approximately 15 patients daily. Erik then served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri School of Health Professions in 2018, where they focused on teaching first-year physical therapy students about different modalities used in the field. In 2019, Erik had multiple roles, including being a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Human Kinesiology courses, an Adapted Personal Trainer at the Activity & Recreation Center, and a Research Assistant in a lab studying the effects of exercise on reaction times during falls. Erik also completed a clinical rotation as a Student Physical Therapist at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, treating veterans with orthopedic conditions and mental health challenges caused by combat. Overall, Erik has demonstrated their commitment to physical therapy and education through these diverse work experiences.

Erik Reese has a strong educational background in the field of physical therapy. Erik obtained their Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Health Science from the same university, completing their studies from 2014 to 2018. Erik's journey into higher education began at Francis Howell Central High School, where they completed their general studies from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Erik has also obtained a certification in CPR and AED from All-Star CPR & First Aid Training Centers in May 2018.
