Martin Baillie

Martin Baillie started their work experience at IKON Office Solutions in 2007 as a Data Integrity Executive, where they ensured the integrity of contracts and equipment databases and provided contract support to the Service Call Centre. Martin then became an IT Support Analyst, providing 2nd line support for Oracle 11i, Windows, MS Office, and Active Directory. At Ricoh UK, starting in 2010, Martin served as a Local Systems - Applications Specialist, offering 2nd line support for Oracle Financials 11i and Lotus Notes, as well as system administration and support for users of a B2B indirect sales site. In 2012, they joined Aptos Retail as an Intermediate Web Developer, developing the front end of eCommerce websites for various high street fashion retailers and providing mentoring and training to junior colleagues. Martin's most recent position was at M-Netics Ltd, where they initially worked as a Senior Software Engineer. Martin designed, developed, and maintained a cross-platform mobile app and web portal for retail stock management systems, advocated for coding and architecture standards, prioritized code readability and maintainability, and shared knowledge through pair programming. Martin recently transitioned to the role of a Scrum Master, responsible for facilitating the Scrum team and ensuring smooth project execution. Throughout their career, Martin continuously expanded their skillset and worked with technologies beyond their core competencies.

Martin Baillie attended Birkbeck, University of London from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing. In June 2021, they also acquired the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Agile Alliance. No additional education or certifications were provided.
