João José Gomes Reis

João José Gomes Reis has extensive work experience in the field of data and management. João currently serves as the Head of Data at Peak Ventures, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the VP of Data at Lovys from January 2020 to December 2022. At Lovys, João played a crucial role in reshaping insurance by introducing a simplified and transparent monthly subscription model. Before Lovys, João was the Co-Founder of UpType, an online management solution company, from March 2017 to November 2019. João also worked as a BI Team Leader at Jumia Services from October 2015 to February 2017 and as a Senior BI Developer at Africa Internet Group from March 2015 to October 2015. João's early career includes roles as a senior consultant at PwC from September 2014 to February 2015, a consultant at Deloitte from October 2012 to September 2014, and a trainee consultant at Capgemini from September 2011 to July 2012.

João José Gomes Reis obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico between 2005 and 2012. In 2020 and 2021, they pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics at Porto Business School.
