Barbara Rhodes

Barbara Rhodes is currently the Director of Utilization Review at Peak View Behavioral Health. Barbara has over 7 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare field. Prior to their current position, they were the Manager of Network Relations at Beacon Health Options and a Project Manager at AspenPointe.

In their current role, Barbara oversees relationships with behavioral healthcare providers, contracting and credentialing, and falls within strict regulatory compliance. Billing accuracy is a primary focus and they spend a good deal of time researching and correcting claims to expedite payment. A highlight of their time at Beacon Health was improving provider engagement 25% in response to Medicaid requirements for annual reporting.

At AspenPointe, Barbara was responsible for ensuring that programs and projects ran according to the requirements. Negotiating contracts, managing the budget and subcontractors also fell under their purview. Barbara was able to make some improvements that led to an additional $24K in billing by arranging for lab testing with a third party at no charge. Barbara also learned more than they ever thought she’d want to know about tenant-improvement projects and working with a variety of vendors.
