Peaks of Health Metabolic Medical Center

This center was established by Dr. Tracie Leonhardt to address the underlying cause of a disease. Instead of just treating the symptoms, we strive to find the root of the disease process, such as diabetes or hypertension. When we find the underlying cause, we can correct the problem by actually treating it, rather than putting a band-aid on it. Here at Peaks of Health our goal is to help you Reach Your Peak health - this includes making sure your body is running at optimal efficiency. By addressing diet and nutrition, we focus on the essential ways your body gets key ingredients you need to function. By addressing hormones, we focus on the signals that tell your body how to function. This is the recipe of health - without the key ingredients and the proper recipe, the results won’t be good. We also address the intestinal system and look for proper digestion. Issues here mean you’re not able to absorb any of the key nutrients necessary for a healthy lifestyle. Since the body doesn't function with only one part at a time, we need to look at the entire system and all of the different connections to unravel the problems. Through this big-picture method we can discover and address what part or parts are no longer functioning properly. We treat your whole body, so you can feel your best.
