Chandan Seth Nanda has a diverse work experience in the field of target and drug discovery, cancer research, and scientific writing. They are currently serving as the Director of Target and Drug Discovery at Pear Bio since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Founding (Lead) Scientist of Target & Drug Discovery at the same company from January 2022 to April 2023.

Chandan Seth Nanda completed their schooling at Cambridge School in New Delhi, India, from 1991 to 2004, with a focus on science. Chandan then pursued a Bachelor's (Hons) degree in Biochemistry from Delhi University, graduating in 2007. Following this, they obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Jamia Hamdard University between 2007 and 2009. Continuing their education, Chandan completed a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Geneva, earning their degree in 2015. Chandan later engaged in a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Oxford, specializing in Biotechnology, Cancer heterogeneity & therapeutics, and Pharmacogenomics. Additionally, they pursued a post-graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
