Robert D.

Robert D. has over 10 years of experience in information security and IT operations. Robert is currently serving as the Sr. Director of IT Operations and Cyber Security at Azurity Pharmaceuticals, where they are responsible for selecting and implementing cybersecurity tools, designing IT operations workflows, and overseeing the hiring of technical talent. Prior to this, Robert held leadership positions at Pear Therapeutics, Commonwealth Care Alliance, Boston Medical Center, and Kyruus, where they managed information security programs, implemented security architecture, and directed implementation services teams. Robert also has experience as a CIO/CISO at HealthAlliance Hospital and held interim roles as a Director of Implementation Services and Chief Information Security Officer at Allscripts, Presence Health, and York Hospital. Throughout their career, Robert has focused on developing and maintaining information security programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and implementing security measures to protect data and networks.

Robert D. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Franklin Pierce University, where they attended from 1987 to 1991. Robert then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on IS Security Operations, from Rivier University, which they completed between 1992 and 1996. In 2019, Robert D. also obtained a certification from (ISC)².
