하동욱 3촌3촌 is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in game development and engineering. Currently serving as the CTO and Executive Head of the Engineering Division at Pearl Abyss from February 2021 to April 2025, 하동욱 focuses on the development of an in-house multi-platform game engine and the shipping of AAA game titles. Previously, 하동욱 was a Senior Researcher at 고려대학교's Super-intelligence Research Center from July 2020 to January 2021. Prior roles include Technical Director and Animation Programmer at Pearl Abyss from May 2011 to July 2020, and Programmer for Crytek's CryEngine3 SDK team from February 2010 to June 2011. Early in the career, 하동욱 worked as a Game Programmer on the online game title 'Bubble Fighter' at Nexon from January 2009 to February 2010. 하동욱 holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from 고려대학교, completed in January 2008 and January 2006, respectively.
