Jeremy Caldera has extensive work experience in the audiovisual industry. Jeremy is currently the Executive Vice President at Pearl Technology, where they provide strategic leadership and focuses on achieving sales and business goals. In addition, they are a Senior University Faculty Member and former CTS Certification Program Chair at AVIXA, where they oversee the development of credible certifications for AV professionals. Jeremy is also a Partner at Top Shelf Digital Media, specializing in digital signage marketing, and at BNCO Consulting, where they assist in creating a superior user experience. Previously, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at IAS Technology, which was acquired by Pearl Technology. Jeremy also has experience in academia, teaching and developing courses in the Audio Arts & Acoustics Department at Columbia College Chicago. Prior to that, they were the Director of Engineering at RoomReady, specializing in integrated audio, video, and control facility design. Jeremy began their career in programming and production at Spirit Education Association and WSOG Radio, and later worked as a Senior Audiovisual Sales & Design Engineer at Thompson Electronics Company. Additionally, Jeremy has entrepreneurial experience as the co-owner/operator of High Voltage Entertainment, a successful DJ and entertainment company.
Jeremy Caldera attended Columbia College Chicago from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Audio Arts & Acoustics. Prior to that, they attended St. Bede Academy in Peru from 1995 to 1999 for high school. In addition to their formal education, Jeremy has obtained several certifications in various audio and visual technology fields, including Qsys Certified, CQT AV9000 Certified, CTS-I - Certified Technology Specialist - Installation, Tesira Certified, CTS-D - Certified Technology Specialist - Design, ISF-C, and DMC-D-4K - Digital Media Certified Designer. The years in which they obtained these certifications are not specified.
