Elaine Montilla currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Pearson, where responsibility includes shaping the School Assessment strategy and overseeing product technology workflows. As the founder of 5xminority, Elaine aims to create inclusive workspaces that elevate underrepresented voices in technology. In addition, Elaine is a TechnoloChicas Ambassador with NCWIT, empowering young Latinas to pursue careers in tech. Elaine is also an official member of the Forbes Technology Council, actively participating in a network of industry leaders. Previously, Elaine held various roles at The Graduate Center, CUNY, including Assistant Vice President for Information Technology and CIO, where oversight of IT strategy and client services was key. Elaine's educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions, including a Master of Science in Business Management and Leadership, a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems, and recent training in Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation.
