Lara Southard

Lara Southard, PhD, is a research scientist and statistician with a decade of experience in analytics, research, and human behavior. Currently serving as a Principal Research Scientist at Pearson, Lara employs advanced statistical methodologies to enhance educational products and initiatives. Previously, Lara held various roles including Instructor of Psychology at Front Range Community College and Co-Principal Investigator at Meredith College, where significant research on social support among young adults was conducted. Lara is known for exceptional communication and collaboration skills, having also worked extensively as a consultant and educator in statistical methodologies and data analysis.
