Rukshan Jayaratna

Rukshan Jayaratna is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product and program management, currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Pearson since August 2019. In this role, Rukshan leads the product team in Colombo, focusing on coaching and mentoring to enhance professional development and supporting various product platforms, including Pearson Mastering and LMS integrations. Previously, Rukshan held a Program Director position at the London Stock Exchange Group, where involvement in client implementation and restructuring of resourcing models was key. Rukshan’s career at Pearson also included roles as Senior Program Manager and Program Manager, concentrating on integration of education platforms. Earlier experience includes leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer at Eyepax IT Consulting and Mazarin, alongside an early tenure as a Management Trainee at Altcom AB. Rukshan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and an MBA in Operations Management & Entrepreneurship from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
