Taku Harada

Taku Harada has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and companies. Taku started their career in 1997 at Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. where they worked in International Business Affairs until 1999. Following that, they joined Amazon.com in 2001 as a Product Manager, a role they held until 2005.

In 2005, Harada joined Apple as a Senior Manager in iTunes Japan Marketing and stayed with the company until 2006. Taku then moved to Amazon.com again and served as the Senior Manager of Marketing for Amazon Japan for the first half of 2006. From July 2006 to March 2008, they held the position of Senior Manager of Amazon Mobile Japan at the same company.

Harada then worked at YOOX as the Japan Country Manager from April 2008 to August 2009. Finally, in 2009, they co-founded Peatix, where they act as the CEO and Co-Founder, a position they currently hold.

Taku Harada completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Yale University, where they attended from 1993 to 1997.
